I was referred to The Joel Nelson Group to sell a property in Washington, DC and I’m so glad I followed up on the referral! I wish I could give them ten stars! I live in another state and the house really needed a lot of work to go on the market. Honestly, I was quite concerned and anxious about moving forward knowing I couldn’t be in DC to handle this task in person. After speaking with Joel my anxiety was significantly reduced and I felt a sense of peace about my decision. Joel and his very competent team (Angela, Taylor, Christine and amazing contract team) took care of every detail from listing to a seamless and smooth virtual closing! I didn’t have to travel to Wash, DC once! Joel offered several options on how. to proceed and I told him “I trust you to decide the best way to go to achieve the best results.”, and he did just that! I can’t express the relief I felt knowing I didn’t have to think about the property. It was great! Joel is extremely knowledgeable about the Wash, DC metropolitan area real estate market and had great suggestions to bring out the features of the house. Apart from knowing his stuff, Joel was very easy to work with, explained every step of the process and very calm and positive! Joel sent pictures of each stage of the work being done and the contractors did a fabulous job and the house looked amazing! It was like a new house! I showed the final pictures after the renovations to friends who had seen the house in its original state and they couldn’t believe the transformation, saying how beautiful it was and that it looked like a new house! Further, the proposal for the work to be done was very fair and reasonable considering all that needed to be done to get the property market ready.
