We highly recommend the Joel Nelson group. Joel himself guided us through the entire sale process for our 140 year old historic home on Capitol Hill in DC. Since we lived in the house for 40 years, he advised us of the sprucing up that would present our house in the best light. He sold it for the asking price and within the promised timeframe.

We interviewed 2 other well-known realtors and are very glad we chose him. The other 2 wanted to do massive amounts of bath and kitchen renovations. We resisted this because we expected the buyer would want their own changes. We are so glad we followed Joel’s advice. We left him a house with our extra furniture for staging and with a number of projects and cosmetic improvements. He did the work with his own people at much less than it would have cost me. He donated the extra furniture to DC charities for us. He did weekend open houses for several months to find the right fit and kept us in the loop the entire time.
